Red Tiger: The must-visit Vietnamese pub in Rosemont

This week, our team of Montreal real estate brokers discovered the delicious Vietnamese pub Red Tiger in the Rosemont-La-Petite-Patrie district, more precisely in the Shops Angus.

Red Tiger: family-inspired Vietnamese pub

The new Red Tiger restaurant invites you on a culinary journey to the heart of Vietnam. Run by third-generation Vietnamese owners, this establishment offers a unique taste experience. You’ll discover a variety of dishes, from delicious Vietnamese street food-inspired specialties such as beef carpaccio and shrimp chips, to classic Vietnamese dishes such as traditional phô bowls. All in all, Red Tiger is the ideal address for tasting dishes that will satisfy every gastronomic craving.

A creative cocktail menu

The cocktail menu offers tasty creations to accompany your meals. The menu evolves with the seasons and the bartenders’ inspirations. In autumn, for example, the Chïa Pumpkin cocktail made its appearance. According to the waitress who greeted us during our visit, holiday-inspired cocktails should soon make their debut. Sabrina, Marketing Coordinator, and Marika, Marketing Manager, chose to try the Thaï Colada and the Me Luv You Long Time. The Thaï Colada comes in a coconut tin and offers a tasty take on the classic Pina Colada. The Me Luv You Long Time, on the other hand, reveals watermelon flavours, giving this cocktail an incomparable freshness.

New location in Rosemont-La-Petite-Patrie

Since March 2024, the famous Vietnamese pub Red Tiger has opened its doors in the Angus Shops, more precisely on Place Léopold-Beaulieu. This newcomer joins renowned establishments such as sushi restaurant Le Blossom and wine bar Annette, making Place Léopold-Beaulieu a true gastronomic center in the heart of Rosemont. This is the third branch of the Red Tiger brand, which already offers its tasty dishes at Time Out Market in Ville-Marie and on Maisonneuve Street directly in the Village.

Place Léopold-Beaulieu

Construction of Place Léopold-Beaulieu, located in the Rosemont district, began in 2014 and was carried out in two phases. The first phase took place between 2014 and 2015, while the second ran from 2019 to 2022. The project won the prestigious Grand Prix du Design in 2017. The main aim of this public space was to create a pedestrian transit area, while offering ground-floor retailers the opportunity to set up terraces and benefit from a variety of large green spaces.

Rosemont-La-Petite-Patrie

The Rosemont district has established itself as a gastronomic pole in the heart of the city. With its wealth and diversity of culinary establishments, it attracts gourmets from all over Greater Montreal. Among the must-visit addresses are Régine Café, famous for its tasty brunches, Montreal Plaza restaurant, and Bar Mamie, which draws its inspiration from French culinary traditions. These emblematic venues are testimony to the gastronomic effervescence that characterizes this dynamic district.
