Kemsley, the team’s sales coordinator, discovers Foil Gallery, a new café and art gallery located in the Mile-Ex district. Ideally located between Mile-End and Petite-Italie, this gallery is in the Rosemont La Petite-Patrie borough.

Le Foil Gallery: A new café/art gallery in Mile-Ex

This café was founded in February 2025 by a couple of artists. Specifically, by Jo-Anie Charland (known as artist baeige) and Frédéric Duquette (aka FVCKRENDER). Their goal was to make art and art galleries more accessible. Although the business opened just over a month ago, it quickly became a huge success. A success largely propelled by social networks. This unexpected popularity came as a pleasant surprise to the duo, who initially imagined that the café would be frequented mainly by their friends and family.

A wide selection of works of art to please all tastes

This new art gallery is distinguished by the richness and diversity of its works. You’ll discover paintings, sculptures, as well as original digital creations. The artworks are produced by LAB, an audiovisual laboratory dedicated to the exploration of digital art.

The gallery’s sound universe is entirely designed by Olivier Lamontagne, offering a unique immersive experience. Finally, the sensory experience is completed with a signature fragrance, custom-designed by New York perfume house DS & Durga. As soon as you enter the café, this aroma catches your attention.
