Real estate broker
Native of Colombia, Catalina began her studies in political science at the University of the Andes, where she obtained her bachelor‘s degree. She also earned a master’s degree in governance, management, and public affairs from the Externado University in collaboration with the prestigious Columbia University in New York. Catalina later moved to Montreal, where she obtained a specialized graduate diploma (DESS) in management from HEC Montreal. After completing her studies in 2006, Catalina started her own business to assist the Latin American community by providing messaging and importation services.
Coming from a family that owns large real estate companies in Latin America, Catalina has been passionate about real estate since childhood. A few years later, she decided to take a real estate brokerage course. She obtained her residential and commercial license in 2010 and started working in the profession part-time while continuing to operate her business. In 2011, she sold her business and purchased a new one, which she operated for four years. However, in 2013, Catalina focused her career full-time on real estate brokerage. She joined a renowned real estate team, where she held the position of Director of Operations for real estate brokers. For four years, Catalina was responsible for all operations within the team, such as assisting brokers, ensuring compliance with all files, and meeting deadlines. She then held the position of Director of Properties, where she was responsible for all commercial and semi-commercial properties, meeting with clients and presenting market evaluations to them.
Her past experience as an entrepreneur greatly helped her acquire the necessary knowledge for buying and selling businesses. Commercial real estate holds no secrets for Catalina. As an investor in real estate herself, Catalina has a perfect mastery of financial analysis for multi-unit buildings.
